Perpetual Rhythms

I’m Ron Finlay, the owner of Perpetual Rhythms, and I’ve been working in the wedding and event industry for more than 45 years. I’ve had the privilege of serving more than 1,000 couples and being part of over 1,500 events. My goal is to create celebrations that are personal, well organized and genuinely enjoyable for both couples and their guests. I offer much more than DJ and MC services. Perpetual Rhythms provides wedding planning, coordination, officiating, lighting, ceremony audio and first dance lessons, allowing couples to work with an experienced professional who understands how all the different pieces of a wedding need to work together. My background in ballroom and Latin dancing, combined with my experience in electrical and acoustics engineering, gives me a unique understanding of both the technical side of an event and the energy that makes a celebration memorable. I also offer my Wedding Planning Strategy Session (WPSS), where I teach couples how to plan their own weddings strategically. Together, we look at budgeting, priorities, vendor decisions and the common mistakes that can cost couples thousands of dollars. The goal is to give couples the knowledge and confidence to make smarter decisions and potentially save thousands while still creating the wedding they envision. When it comes to entertainment, my philosophy is simple: play what people actually want to dance to. I welcome guest requests and work closely with couples to create a musical experience that keeps the dance floor energized while making sure everyone can enjoy the celebration.
